Projects

Free and tips-enabled assets expose a direct download from the upload host. Paid assets show price and checkout details publicly, while the direct file URL stays private until a verified purchase flow is available.

Upload

Validated build or asset file

Monetization

Checking
Free uploads Publishing free games or assets has no listing fee. Free content grows traffic, ranking signals, public portfolios, and discovery.
Tips Developers receive 90% of net payment value after provider costs. Cruze Games keeps 10% for platform operations, support, and discovery.
Paid games and assets Developers receive 85% of net payment value after provider costs. Cruze Games keeps 15% for hosting, validation, payments, and marketplace operations.
Platform purchases Sponsored placements, developer plans, and jam sponsorships are platform services. Revenue funds promotion, hosting, reviews, and community growth.
Payouts Payouts start with manual monthly statements and a minimum threshold. Automated split payouts can be added after transaction volume and reconciliation are stable.
Improvements to plan Next upgrades should include public pricing tables, payout dashboards, refund handling, tax fields, promo coupons, and automated revenue splits where supported.

Payment records

Confirmed payments include downloadable Cruze Games receipts.

Developer standards

Policies

Current policy
Accountability Developer actions are tied to the signed-in account. Do not share accounts used for publishing, payments, or payout details.
Content ownership Upload only games, assets, images, audio, text, code, names, brands, and characters that you created or have the legal right to distribute, sell, and promote.
Safety and moderation Cruze Games may approve, delay, hide, reject, restore, delete, customize metadata, or feature content. Records are retained for review, payments, audit, and abuse prevention.
Security Uploaded games must remain static browser games. They must not request credentials, collect sensitive data, impersonate Cruze Games, escape the player frame, or bypass validation.
Privacy and data Do not collect personal data, payment information, precise location, school records, private messages, or device identifiers inside uploaded games unless Cruze Games has approved the flow in writing.
Review readiness Submissions must include truthful metadata, accurate categories, representative media, working controls, clear age suitability, and no misleading claims about prizes, earnings, rankings, or platform endorsement.
Payments PesaPal credentials stay server-side. Downloads, promotions, and credits unlock only after verified transaction status from PesaPal.
Asset delivery Asset creators choose Free direct download, Free with tips, or Paid download. Paid listings must use the configured price and currency, and direct file links must not be exposed as public metadata before purchase verification.
External links Links must support the game or developer profile, open safely, and must not route users to scams, malware, credential collection, surprise downloads, or off-platform payment collection for Cruze-listed content.
Public publishing Games submitted for review receive a previewable store page. Approved games appear under /games/your-game/ and may surface in catalogue, leaderboard, blog, and public links.
Quality standards Playable games must include an index.html entry, useful title, clear summary, representative cover art, working controls, mobile-friendly layout, and no broken external dependencies.
Drafts and previews Drafts stay private to your signed-in developer account. Previews are for testing and review; they are not a public approval or guarantee of featuring.
Analytics integrity Do not inflate views, plays, downloads, votes, purchases, referrals, or leaderboard activity. Suspicious traffic can be filtered, delayed, reviewed, or removed from public ranking signals.
Disputes and takedowns Content may be paused during ownership, safety, payment, or abuse reviews. Developers may edit and resubmit rejected work after resolving the stated issue.
Admin decisions Super admin decisions are final for public safety and platform quality. Delayed or rejected items can be edited and submitted again after fixes.
Reference standards These standards align with common store requirements for account responsibility, content ownership, privacy, payment verification, anti-abuse controls, moderation, takedowns, and ranking integrity. See the Cruze Games Privacy Policy and the monetization guidance in this workspace.
