1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of cruzegames.store and blog.cruzegames.store (together, the "Site" or "Cruze Games"), operated by Cruze Intelligent Systems (U) Ltd ("Cruze Games", "we", "us", "our"), a company based in Gulu, Uganda.

By creating an account, browsing as a guest, playing a game, or publishing content on Cruze Games, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You may browse and play many titles as a guest without an account. Creating an account (via Google sign-in or email OTP) lets you keep progress, leaderboard standing, and community activity tied to one identity.

You are responsible for activity under your account, including on shared or public devices.
Provide accurate information when asked (display name, email, developer profile details).
Do not share developer or payment-linked accounts with others.
If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at team@cruzegames.store.
If a game or feature carries an age recommendation, follow it. Some titles (for example, Junior Code Quest) are built for younger players and should be used with appropriate parental awareness. See our Children's Privacy section.

3. Acceptable Use

When using Cruze Games, you agree not to:

Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with account authentication, payment verification, upload validation, or content moderation.
Inflate views, plays, downloads, votes, purchases, referrals, or leaderboard activity through automated or fraudulent means.
Upload or transmit malware, or attempt to access data, accounts, or systems you are not authorized to access.
Use the Site to collect other users' personal data without consent, or to harass, defraud, or impersonate any person or organization, including Cruze Games itself.
Reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or resell access to the Site without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this section, as described in Suspension & Termination.

4. Content & Intellectual Property

The Cruze Games name, logo, storefront design, and platform software are owned by Cruze Intelligent Systems (U) Ltd or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without permission.

Games, assets, blog posts, and other content published by developers or Cruze Games remain the property of their respective creators, except where explicitly stated otherwise. Publishing content on Cruze Games grants us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, distribute, and promote that content on and in connection with the Site (including catalogue listings, social previews, and the public blog), for as long as the content remains published or as reasonably needed for records, audit, and payout history afterward.

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you send us about the Site may be used by Cruze Games without obligation to you.

5. Publishing on Cruze Games

If you publish games, assets, posts, or jam pages as a developer, you additionally agree to the Developer Publishing Standards presented and accepted during developer sign-up, which cover in detail:

Content ownership — you may only upload work you created or have the legal right to distribute, sell, and promote.
Security requirements — uploaded games must remain static browser games and must not request credentials, collect sensitive data, impersonate Cruze Games, or attempt to escape the player sandbox.
Review and moderation — Cruze Games may approve, delay, hide, reject, restore, delete, or customize metadata for published content, with records retained for review, payment, audit, and abuse prevention.
Quality and honesty requirements for submitted metadata, media, and claims.

These Terms and the Developer Publishing Standards together form the agreement between you and Cruze Games for any publishing activity. Where the two conflict on a developer-specific matter, the Developer Publishing Standards control.

6. Payments, Fees & Refunds

Cruze Games uses PesaPal to process payments (mobile money, card, and bank). We never see or store your raw payment credentials — PesaPal handles that directly. Money is only unlocked, credited, or recorded after our servers independently verify transaction status with PesaPal; a browser redirect or callback alone is never treated as proof of payment.

Current pricing and revenue shares, in force as of the date at the top of this page:

Developer game-upload credit: UGX 5,000 per accepted game upload (or the converted equivalent in your account currency).
Developer asset-upload credit: UGX 2,500 per accepted asset upload.
Tips to developers: the developer receives 90% of net payment value after provider costs; Cruze Games retains 10%.
Paid game or asset purchases: the developer receives 85% of net payment value after provider costs; Cruze Games retains 15%.
Platform services (upload credits, sponsored placement, jam sponsorship) are billed at 100% to Cruze Games, as they are platform fees rather than developer sales.

Upload credits are consumed only when a paid-for upload is accepted after validation; if validation rejects the file, the credit is released back to your account rather than consumed. Every 5th successful upload-fee payment currently earns one bonus game-upload credit and one bonus asset-upload credit.

Refunds. Because upload credits, tips, and purchases unlock digital content or services immediately upon confirmed payment, payments are generally non-refundable once a credit has been consumed, a tip delivered, or a purchase completed. If you believe you were charged in error — for example, a duplicate charge or a payment that was confirmed but never applied to your account — contact team@cruzegames.store with your payment reference, and we will investigate and issue a correction or refund at our discretion where the record supports it.

Payment receipts are available for confirmed payments from your account's payment history, and can be downloaded or emailed to your own signed-in account's address on request.

7. Moderation & Takedowns

We may review, delay, hide, restrict, or remove any content — including games, assets, posts, comments, and profile information — that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, the Developer Publishing Standards, applicable law, or the rights of others. We may also suspend features (uploads, payments, comments) platform-wide for maintenance, security, or legal reasons.

If you believe content infringes your intellectual property or violates these Terms, contact team@cruzegames.store with enough detail (the content's URL, the right you hold, and a description of the issue) for us to investigate.

8. Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cruze Games disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure, and games or features may change, be delayed, or be discontinued.

Developer-published content is created by independent developers, not Cruze Games. We moderate for the standards described above, but we do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or safety of every third-party game or asset beyond that review.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cruze Intelligent Systems (U) Ltd and its officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Site — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Site is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Cruze Games in the 3 months before the claim arose, or (b) UGX 50,000.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Cruze Intelligent Systems (U) Ltd from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: your violation of these Terms; content you publish or upload; or your violation of any law or third party's rights.

11. Suspension & Termination

You may stop using the Site or request account deletion at any time by contacting team@cruzegames.store. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, for violating these Terms, the Developer Publishing Standards, or applicable law, or where necessary to protect the Site, other users, or Cruze Games.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including Content & Intellectual Property, Payments (for amounts already owed), Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Indemnification — remain in effect after your access ends.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting team@cruzegames.store; if it cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, features, or legal requirements. The date at the top of this page always shows the last revision. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes affecting payments or developer revenue shares will be communicated with reasonable advance notice where practical.
